Encouraging your baby to discover the world

advice in category: junior

Your baby enters a stage when its fascination with the surrounding world increases every day. The little explorer can’t ignore anything. Be prepared. The baby will be most interested in the things the parents use frequently.

Probably, you won’t be able to save some objects from destruction - your baby will want to see what happens when your mobile phone falls on the floor. Repeating the same action several times enables the baby to learn the relation between cause and effect.

Try not to introduce too many bans. You won’t have to worry too much - the baby won’t listen to you anyway. Don’t see it as lack of obedience - your baby is too little to control the urges that make it touch a new object. Try to accompany your baby while it discovers the world, and explain it.
